Genie Cleaner is intended to clean the RAM from data that are no longer necessary, thus enhancing your system’s performance. In addition, this tool can search for traces of your activity that are occupying disk space and compromising your privacy.
The application is very easy to use. In fact, most of the operations are carried out just by clicking on one or two buttons. In Turbo Boost mode, the tool scans your computer’s RAM and provides you with a report of the programs that are currently using it. This works similarly to Windows Task Manager and all you need to do is select the applications you want to stop. In Clean mode, the application examines the disks and presents a list of leftovers classified in such categories as Internet Junk, Residuals, Software Junk, System Junk, Recycle Bin and Registry Junk. From the list, you can choose what items to eliminate.
All in all, Genie Cleaner is a small program that has positive effects on your system’s performance and security. However, it’s not the ideal tool for this purpose. First, there are many areas of computer activity that this application cannot explore and, consequently, some problems may go unfixed. Second, you cannot schedule scans to take place regularly or when certain conditions are met, as when memory usage reaches a given level.
